HVAC Noise – Understanding Air Conditioner Noise Problems
Air conditioning units by their nature are noisy beasts. Whatever brand or style of air conditioner you have, it will be sure to emit some sort of noise. So how do you go about dealing with this noise? Read on to find some great advice on how to deal with the noise made by air conditioners.
Location – Firstly, you should take a long look at where to place your outdoor compressor unit. If possible, try to keep it away from bedrooms in your house or quiet areas such as studies and home offices. If you are a light sleeper, be even more careful where you place the air conditioning unit. If possible try to install the air conditioning outdoor unit near the Laundry, Bathrooms, Garage or some other non living area. Keep it away from alfrescos and entertaining areas if possible as air conditioning units are not a feature you want your friends to be staring at when you are entertaining.
