Choose flooring which complements your interior and creates the ambiance you want to impart to different spaces. From the modern options of granite to marble, to more traditional ones like red-oxide and wood, there are plenty of options.

Wood, if you can afford the time and money for its maintenance, is a good option as it looks warm and stylish. There are many options like oak wood flooring, laminated wood etc. You can choose from solid (one type from top to bottom), engineered (layers of wood are pressed together and glued) or acrylic mixed – where acrylic is impregnated into the wood. This type is best suited for high-traffic areas like the kitchen or living room. Finishes also vary and the choice will depend on the type of floor you want to have in that part of the house. Embellished with borders, accents, medallions, and painting in particular, you can enhance your wood floors to a large extent. Another option is bamboo flooring which has the twin advantages of high sustainability and environment-friendly origin as compared to a hardwood floor.
